Military discounts given  -  (copy of DD-214 with Honorable Discharge required)

This class includes, upon completion, your CCW certificate which allows you to apply for your Concealed Carry Permit through the State of Illinois.

FYI - I require everyone going through the Concealed Carry Class to take all 16 hours, including our Military personnel. My reasoning for this is that I want ALL my students to learn the same thing. I'm not saying that our Military people don't know what they're doing because they do. What I am saying is that not everyone who was in the military carried a gun for a living. A large number of veterans were support personnel in non-combat roles; without them the Armed Forces wouldn't be the institution it is. Because of this I have taken this stance. If you disagree, let me know and please try to convince me why I'm wrong other than saying "just because". I will give a military discount all day long, the only thing I ask in return is that you spend a little more time with me.

***Beside the cost of the class, the State of Illinois will charge $150 for in state residents and $300 for out of state residents. There is also a charge for finger prints to be submitted electronically. There are several locations to obtain your fingerprints but the fees can vary depending on the site you choose. Fingerprints are not required but is helpful in that it speeds up the process and avoids the "Human error" which can occur.
